Here at new creation church

New Creation Church is a non-denominational church in Mount Maunganui. We focus on making disciples and growing stronger in our love for Jesus as we persue God's perfect plan for our lives.

To know and experience the love that Jesus has for all of us and make Him the centre of everything we do.

Our Beliefs

Scriptures inspired
The Bible is the Word of God. Written by man, conducted by God. We believe the whole Bible, cover to cover. 2 Timothy 3:16.
The trinity.
God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all seperate beings but all in one. Jesus is God manfest in the flesh and equal to God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:6, Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14.

THE SALVATION OF MAN
For all have sinned and are in need of a Saviour. Sinned entered this world through Adam and now through believing on Jesus we can be saved. We cannot work for our salvation but through faith, receive God's grace. Ephesians 2:8, Titus 3:5, Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:8-10.
THE PRESENT DAY MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that was poured out at Pentecost is the same Spirit that lives within each and every believer. Believers can and should be filled with the Holy Spirit (Baptised in the Holy Spirit) and use the gifts that God has given us to build His Church. Acts 2:4,17.
divine healing
Divine healing is part of the atonement, what Christ purchased for us, along with Salvation. We believe that God wants us well. Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24.
water baptism
Every believer should be baptised after salvation. Not as a requirement to be saved but to follow Christ's example and obey His Word. Matthew 3:13-17, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-16
THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS CHURCH
Jesus will return for His Church. John 14:3, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-58.
HEAVEN AND HELL
There is a Heaven and a Hell. Heaven is prepared for those who believe on Jesus. Hell was prepared for Satan and his demons but those who do not trust in Jesus in this lifetime are destined for that place. Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 20:11-15, 21:1-8.

Dean and Lupe have been a part of this church for over 30 years. They have four wonderful grown kids, four grand children and one great grand child. They have a desire to pastor and equip believers.

Bill and Emma, along with their son Malachi, have a passion to pursue Jesus. They lead our praise and worship and Bill shares on Sunday mornings.
